Sara Searle has asked, and we are so sad to announce here the passing of her sweetheart and eternal companion, Gordon Searle, today in an automobile accident. We have no other details at this point in time. We will keep you posted on funeral arrangements etc. and any other news as we receive that information. In the mean time we send our love and deepest sympathy to Sara and family. Of course we will be praying for the peace and comfort of this dear family and all who loved Gordon so! He was a blessing and inspiration to the entire Hinckley family and will be greatly missed!

- Gordon's funeral will be in Chicago on Saturday, November 29th. The viewing will be from 10:00-12:00 with the funeral following at 12:00.
- Gordon's obituary will be in the Deseret News on Sunday, November 30th.
- On Saturday, December 6th, there will be a viewing at Russon Brothers Mortuary in Bountiful at 295 N. Main St. followed by interment in the Bountiful Cemetery.
After speaking with Lon today I understand that the funeral in Chicago was outstanding in every way! A beautiful tribute to a truly great individual, and that Sara is strong and holding up.
